The Beast Must Die OST

Photobucket

Another rare number right here on Columbia Japan. This is an amazing dramatic orchestra style LP from Japan. It is by a group called Arakawa. I, unfortunately have not had the pleasure of viewing this film, all though I have heard mixed reviews. I can't seem to find any information about this album but can assure you I am a huge fan of it, and hope you enjoy it too. how about a preview?

  2. The YouTube trailer is for a British Horror film called The Beast Must Die that is indeed about a werewolf. The soundtrack you posted is NOT for this film. I do not know what film the soundtrack you posted is , but it is not the soundtrack to a "Japanese film about werewolves." Most likely, the soundtrack is this film...a Japanese crime film with a similar title...http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0324604/ I just hate to see misinformation on the web especially when it is pertaining to a cool film with an even cooler soundtrack which was composed by Douglas Gamley - it remains unavailable. Happy digging.

    1. Hmmm. Thanks for the heads up MangoFilth. From what I know, it is a soundtrack for a movie called..."the beast must die". Looks like the youtube clip I posted is from "another" version of the film. I will correct.

  4. It'd be great if somebody could provide track names. BTW, anybody else notice the "copy finished" sounds every once in a while on this? I kept thinking I was copying files on my Mac, then realized it was coming from these tracks. Like around 0:49 of track 11 is one example.
